Primary Focus
Within the academy, players will be reinforced with the basic fundamentals while learning new skills. Focusing a lot of smaller detailed work, game-like situations, game IQ, along with improving their individual skill sets such as dribbling, shooting, finishing, as well as performance training.
Player's Expectations
-
Show up on time - Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to workout to warm up. Showing up early will allow the players to have more time within their workout hour.
-
Be Coachable - Listen to what coaches are explaining and demonstrating. Being able to remember and do the drills/exercise you are not comfortable with is part of the growth process to getting better. Remember what your coaches say and explain represents a sign of respect to your coache(s).
-
Be Prepared - Players are responsible to always come ready to workout, ready to work hard, ready to give 60 minutes of their day to put full effort to improving and getting better.
Players under the Hoop HQ Academy have expectations to perform and practice at a higher standard!

Our Academy Program is directed by Coach Aaron and our team of Player Development Coaches. All Academy players will be treated as if they are college level players, matching the level of maturity and the level of standard in their workouts.
